Texas Broker Buys Settlement Firm
Crump Life Insurance Services has purchased the assets of a life settlements company.
Crump completed the acquisition of the assets of Life Settlements Insights L.L.C., Cleveland., Dec. 31, 2009. The transaction was announced on the LSI website.
Crump Life, Roseland, N.J., is a unit of Crump Group Inc., Woodlands, Texas.
Crump Life will integrate LSI and its employees into Crump’s existing secondary markets solution center, according to LSI.
Crump Group was formed in 2007 by combining Crump Insurance Services Inc, a wholesale property-casualty insurance broker, with the former insurance, life insurance and retirement services businesses of BISYS Inc., Roseland, N.J.
