Luxembourg Based Life Settlement Fund Open for Business

Life-Exchange member, European Life Settlements Management announced today the launch of their new Luxembourg based life settlements fund, the European Life Settlements Fund. Under the supervision of the Luxembourg Financial Authorities the fund will provide investors with the much needed transparency and regulatory oversight necessary to successfully invest in life settlements.

“We have been working on this structure for almost a year and we are proud on what we have achieved in terms of regulation, transparency, fund partners and structure,” said Titus van Heur, CEO of European Life Settlements Management.

The fund targets institutional investors in Europe as well as the Far and Middle East. The investment management team carefully looked at issues of transparency and paid special attention to various risk elements in the operational structure of the fund. The fund’s valuation methodology is considered conservative and transparent thanks to it being performed independent of the management team.
