Life Insurance Finance Association Conference to Feature Diverse Panel of Speakers

SAN DIEGO

Organization Recommends Early Conference Registration; Space is Limited

Myths and realities surrounding the life insurance premium finance industry will be clarified Nov. 29 by industry experts, including state regulators, attorneys, producers, agents and lenders, who will make up the panel of speakers at the first Life Insurance Finance Association.

Topics to be covered at the conference – “Life-Insurance Premium Financing: Myths and Realities” – include the current state of the premium-finance market and upcoming issues.

The speakers addressing these topics are:

• Scott Cipinko, executive director, Life Insurance Finance Association
• Jim Donelon, Commissioner of Insurance, Louisiana
• Larry Anders, CEO, Summit Alliance
• Justin Finemel, CEO, Ridge Capital Group

“The conference has been met with overwhelming interest and we believe the dynamic panel of speakers has been the major draw,” said Scott Cipinko, executive director, Life Insurance Finance Association. “The speakers were carefully chosen to represent perspectives from all sides of the industry in order to provide attendees with balanced information.”

Space for the first Life Insurance Finance Association conference – sponsored by Wells Fargo, Lord, Bissell and Brook, LLP, and O’Melveny & Meyers, LLP – is limited due to the flood of early registrants, and organization officials recommend reserving space as soon as possible. Interested members of the life-insurance industry, including carriers, state regulators, producers and lenders, are encouraged to attend.

The registration rate is $200 for non-members. Members of the Life Insurance Finance Association are invited to attend the conference free of charge. The conference, held at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York City, runs from 8 a.m. to noon, and continental breakfast will be served. To register, call Kali Timmins at 858/427-4978 or visit the newly developed Web site www.lifaorg.org to download a registration form.
