Fasano Announces Blockbuster Agenda for October 26 Conference

September 9, 2009: Fasano Associates released the Agenda for its 6th Annual Life Settlement Conference, to be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at its headquarters in Washington, D.C.

Thomas Laumont, Chairman of the German Life Settlement Association, BVZL, will moderate a panel of international experts, covering European, Middle Eastern, Asian and Latin American views on life settlements. Philippe Hatstadt, Managing Director of Barclays Capital, will finish the morning session with a presentation on the Impact of Life Extension Risk on Securitized & Bespoke Life Settlement Structures.

The afternoon sessions will include a discussion on Lessons to be Learned for Life Settlements from the Mortgage Backed Securities Market by Ian McAllister, Managing Director of Credit Suisse, and a presentation on the Death of Premium Finance by Dr. Jochen Russ of the Institute for Finance and Actuarial Studies.

Additional afternoon presentations will include a legal wrap-up by Brian Casey of Locke, Lord, Bissell and a regulatory analysis by former South Carolina Director of Insurance, Eleanor Kitzman. In addition, Fasano Associates’ Medical Director, Dr. Jim Wright, will offer a Medical Presentation on endocrine disorders.
