European Life Settlement Firm Changes Name

European Life Settlements Management formerly Abacus Life Settlements Management has changed their trade name this week to eliminate market confusion between themselves and the US life settlement provider firm Abacus Settlements, LLC.

“Initially we liked the name Abacus however it confuses some people in the market given the fact that there is already an Abacus firm based in the US. Although the services and location do not match we want to make sure we are building our success on our own strengths and name.
Additionally the name European Life Settlements Management better reflects our target client base” commented Titus van Heur, CEO European Life Settlements Management.

European Life Settlements Management we still retain its membership on Life-Exchange and will be managed by the same directors. There is no relationship between the European firm and New York based Abacus Settlements, LLC however both firms are members of Life-Exchange.
