Chapman Hext & Co., P.C. and Value Life Corp Have Formed a Joint Venture to Provide Portfolio Management and Servicing to Invest

Value Life Corp(VLC) and Chapman, Hext & Co., P.C.. (CH&Co) have formalized a joint venture to bring VLC’s software and actuarial resources and CH&Co’s back office and accounting expertise to investors with all sizes of portfolios.

VLC and CH&Co have both seen a dramatic growth in the need for services to investors in the Life Settlement industry. The formation of this joint venture brought the partnership of valuation and servicing together with two firms with a long history of providing quality services.

Both companies have been working in the life settlement industry and had both determined that many investors were looking for a reliable solution for managing their portfolios. VLC has provided portfolio valuation, due diligence, and other services to the industry for a number of years. CH&Co has worked with a number of investors as they have evaluated investments in the life settlement industry. “Because of the size and number of policies in a typical portfolio, the investor needs assistance with consistent valuation and reporting as well as help with the servicing of the policies”, according to Larry Warnock. “Based on this, we felt that it was a natural relationship and a great opportunity for both firms to enter into the joint venture together”.
